FileFlip is built so that there is as little to protect as possible. Your files are converted inside your own browser and are never transmitted to us.
Every conversion on this site runs locally in your web browser using code that was downloaded to your device. The files you select are read into your browser's memory, processed there, and offered back to you as a download.
We never receive your files. They are not uploaded, transmitted, copied, queued, scanned, or stored on any server we control. When you close or reload the page, the files and the results are discarded from memory.
There are no accounts on FileFlip. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal detail, and we do not operate a database of users. Nothing you type into a tool option is sent anywhere.
The site is delivered as static files by a hosting provider. Like almost every website, that provider may record standard technical request data such as your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request, and your browser user agent. This is used for delivering the site, security, and aggregate traffic counts. We do not combine it with anything else or use it to identify you.
FileFlip itself does not set tracking cookies and does not use analytics that profile you. Advertising is not currently enabled on this site.
FileFlip is free to use and is supported by advertising. Ads are served by Google AdSense.
Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
Advertising never has access to the files you convert. Those files stay in your browser and are not exposed to the advertising code.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, data protection law gives you rights over personal data held about you, including access, correction, and erasure. Because we do not collect or store personal data ourselves, there is normally nothing for us to retrieve or delete. Requests about advertising data should be directed to Google, and requests about server logs can be sent to us and we will pass them to our hosting provider.
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the date at the top of the page will be updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
