Scanners and phone cameras regularly produce pages that arrive sideways or upside down. Rotating them is a small fix that makes a document readable and printable. The change is written into the file itself, so it stays rotated wherever you open it. Nothing is uploaded.

PDF stores an orientation value for each page. This tool changes that value rather than re-rendering the page, so the operation is instant, lossless, and leaves the file size unchanged. Text stays selectable.
Applying 90 degrees to a page that is already rotated 90 degrees leaves it at 180. If a document has mixed orientations, correct one group of pages at a time.
Rotation works in 90 degree steps only. A scan that is a few degrees off straight needs a scanning application with a deskew feature.
